HOLLYWOOD, December 10, 2002 - Paramount Home Entertainment delivers the beloved PEANUTS classic, IT'S THE EASTER BEAGLE, CHARLIE BROWN, to DVD for the first time on March 4. In IT'S THE EASTER BEAGLE, CHARLIE BROWN, the rabbit population goes on strike and Snoopy rises to fill the position. The DVD also includes the bonus episode, "It's Arbor Day, Charlie Brown" as well as the interactive 'Meet the Animals" game, teasing the March 18 home video release of CHARLOTTE'S WEB 2: WILBUR'S GREAT ADVENTURE. Order cut-off for the DVD is January 21.

In IT'S THE EASTER BEAGLE, CHARLIE BROWN, the whole Peanuts gang comes together for a new set of hilarious adventures. Peppermint Patty tries to explain to Marcy how to make Easter eggs, but they don't turn out quite right. Sally and Snoopy run off to the mall to look for some platform shoes and come back with a new birdhouse for Woodstock. Woodstock puts the finishing touches on the decorations of his new birdhouse while Snoopy dances with bunnies. On Easter morning, when the rabbit population goes on strike, the Peanuts gang finds the Easter bunny looking mysteriously like a beagle as Snoopy takes over egg-distribution.

The DVD of IT'S THE EASTER BEAGLE, CHARLIE BROWN is presented in full screen format and Dolby Digital English Mono. Each of the two episodes runs approximately 25 minutes. The DVD is closed-captioned and sub-titled in English for the hearing-impaired and is encoded with the Macrovision(tm) AntiCopy process.

IT'S THE EASTER BEAGLE, CHARLIE BROWN is priced to own at $19.99 (S.R.P.) in the U.S. and C$26.95 (S.R.P.) in Canada. It is unrated in the U.S. by the Motion Picture Association of America and is rated G in Canada.
